The Vail Valley Theatre Company Presents The Best Evening on Broadway at Manor Vail Lodge on July 26th at 6pm
 
Vail, CO (July 14, 2010) -- The Vail Valley Theatre Company and Manor Vail Lodge are teaming up to present a cabaret night at Manor Vail Lodge in Vail on July 26th.  This event is a fundraiser for the 23 year old not-for-profit whose mission is to bring theatre opportunities to the community. The event will consist of a three act food and song extravaganza including Broadway musical review numbers paired with food and drinks prepared by Chef Richard A. Bailey of Lord Gore restaurant.
 
“This event will be fun and exciting with singing, comedy and local talent that is impressive, says Nicole Whitaker, board member of VVTC and Director of Sales for Manor Vail Lodge.  “I am excited to bring together the talent of the VVTC and the world class dining at Manor Vail Lodge.
 
The event kicks off with Act I which includes a reception and performances by the cast.  Act II offers a three course meal accompanied by special songs from Randy Simmonds and his acoustic guitar.  The Encore includes additional performances along with a chocolate fountain and champagne. 
 
The cast, which is made up of local performers including:  Dore Marott, Maxine Graboyes, Nicole Whitaker, John Tedstrom, Robert Wagner, and Randy Simmonds will be performing hits from past Vilar Center Performances which include: Tonight, Sisters, Moon River, Stars, Cheek to Cheek, duets, trios and group numbers as well as some familiar Broadway tunes all accompanied and directed by Taylor Kundolf.
