The Vail Golf Club will kick off its 43nd season in 2009 and golf patrons can look forward to watching their balls fly 10 percent farther at 8,200 feet. In addition to private and group workshops and clinics, the Golf Club also will offer ladies’, men’s and senior leagues, plus the Monday Sundowner where foursomes will enjoy a nine-hole scramble, followed by appetizers and drinks at the Happy Valley Grill.
The First Tee Junior Golf Program also will take place beginning in June and teach participants life lessons and skills through the sport of golf.
The golf club, which is operated by the Vail Recreation District (VRD), is located at 1778 Vail Valley Drive and is on the Town of Vail bus route. The golf club also offers a fully stocked pro shop and golf swing analysis program.
