More than a float trip, but without heavy rapids, the Colorado has the right balance of atmosphere and fun in an isolated area. Even in light rapids, we pay close attention to safety. Everyone wears a Coast Guard approved life jacket and a safety briefing is given before each trip.
Experience
We are the only locally owned river outfitter on the Upper Colorado River. Our trips meet at our headquarters in Radium, a historic ranch town from the late 1800’s. Radium is located in the old ranching country along the Colorado River. We meet in the 90 yr. old ranch house. The original one room schoolhouse is here and a 100 year old barn where our donkeys live. Everyone who rafts with us loves visiting the donkeys. From Vail, it’s a one hour drive and from Avon it’s 45 min to Radium.
